Crafts can keep me warm

Evelyn was super excited to go back to school yesterday.

We turned on our heat for the first time last night.  I'm working on making some draft stoppers for our doors.

I've been back at work for two days and I'm already dreaming of planting a garden somewhere, which is never a good sign.  I like my job, and I realize that you can't get a garden started in January.  But I still want to run away and plant a garden in the yard of the rural property that I own with a log cabin and a woodburning stove (that magically doesn't hurt my asthma) that isn't too far from Evelyn's beloved school and the roads are good.

Sewing draft stoppers and crocheting dishcloths will have to do when it comes to doing homey things.
